Liberal Americans are the most unpatriotic human beings on the face of the planet. They're society's garbage. They want nothing more than to steal the hard earned wages of America's workers to support massive government social programs. If it were up to liberals, we would have universal healthcare, a God-less society where innocent babies are murdered, unrestricted welfare programs, and no guns for law-abiding citizens. That makes a bunch of sense, doesn't it? Let's see, nationalize 1/7 of the US economy (health care), allow women to use abortion as a means of birth control, encourage laziness, and create a society where God fearing people can't defend themselves from criminals. God, I hate liberals!!!!

I'm agnostic / deist also, but I agree with atilla for the most part. I don't see the point in people attacking religious manifestations withing public places.. especially since a lot of what our society is based on is judeo christian values. I share the values... I just don't know what I believe as far as my creation goes.
These values.. especially the "golden rule" manifest themselves in most other religions also.. and these other religions should have as much respect.. but not to the point where we have to argue over the pledge and statues of the Ten Commandments.
Atheism seems to be the religion of the far left and they're forcing their belief system upon us just as much as people think the "Christian Right" is forcing their beliefs on everyone also.
At lest benkenobi and myself aren't arrogant enough to claim that we KNOW there isn't a God, like some people.
The main problem is people think the concept of seperation of Church and State means that Religion shouldn't be part of the public arena.. when it very much should be since a lot of people's convictions and morals and who they look at the world are grounded in their religious views. The founding fathers meant Seperation of Church and State as not having a National Church (like the church of England).
I could go on but I'm going to bed...

Well, you're close, but still just a little off the mark. I'm a liberal, and if I had my way with America we would have no healthcare at all, mandatory satanic rituals, ritual burnings of infants, distribution of our gold reserves to the unemployed, and gunshots to the head for law-abiding citizens.
