By Nastassia AndariThough Tuesday night, September 14, had settled with a sort of eerie calm-before-the-calm of hurricane Ivan, laughter and Cajun music could be heard emanating from the Atchafalya Room in the LSU Union.
“I commend you on coming,” Rolan Doucet, Cajun Dance instructor, said as he began the fourth of his five-session Cajun Dance class offered through the LSU Union Leisure Classes.
Although there is normally a full class of 44 students, about only half were in attendance that Tuesday night.
