Well it turns out that France really will fight when provoked. Maybe they got tired of all the 'France is a big pussy' comments and went postal.

I have a friend from France, and he says EVERYONE there absolutely hates Muslims. They have a real repulsion toward Muslim people. It's a thousand times worse than whites and blacks here. He wouldn't even sit next to one. I can't help but seeing this all winding up like some big holy war. All the non-Muslim countries against the Muslims...I mean, now that Arafat's dead, Lord knows what's gonna happen in Israel. I've had poli sci teachers saying that Arafat was the most important link between the two factions, that he was some sort of middle man, but I have no idea where thy're getting that from.
