So I'm just wondering, with all the gloating going on, why are you all are so happy that Bush has been re-elected (other than a party win)? I see a lot of Kerry bashing on here, but not a lot of support for or info on the other candidates. So I'm wondering what could be so good about this guy? I'm not seeing it, but hey, that's my opinion, so if you could not attack me (cus this isn't an attack), I'd appreciate it. I'm just curious as to why you would vote for him.

Because if John Stewart didn't have Bush to make fun of every night, then the Daily Show just wouldn't be as funny.

I find that it doesn't really matter who won the election, because of the fact that it was such a close victory/loss for the candidates, it shows how this country is pretty fucking far away from being united.

I disagree. He won by the largest margin since 1988. 3.5 million votes. It seems to me things ARE waxing more "unified", albeit slowly.

Indeed.
Kerry also made the record books for # of people who voted against him. most in history.

This isn't a Bush-bashing thread...if your whole purpose in posting to this thread is to put words in my mouth, then please refrain from replying. This is a question for people who can actually reply to it with some sort of intelligence. So please, take your hostility to the "Terrorists for Kerry" thread.

I am for neither side. I have a right to say what I want. You liberals were bitching about free speech, so now it's my turn.

ok, sorry, just had to rip on you landon....that was too easy
It's obvious that im upset about bush being elected. I was the first to admit we lost, ask april.
I'm a civil person, i'm not one to bash others, i'm very open minded.
I say some things, just to stir up others, because I find it amusing.
i'm ready for the country to move on, and hopefully become united, it's just going to take some time...

Reasons why I voted for Bush:
1. He takes a stance on an issue such as abortion, war, and health care and sticks with it. He doesn't change his stance to fit the audience.
2. I'd rather have Bush in office during this time of war than someone new who might or might not support the war. Hell I don't even think Kerry knows if he was for or against the war. Oh I think the correct phrase is He was for the war before he voted against it...something like that.
3. Bush tells it like it is. He may not be the greatest orator ever but, at least he just lays it out unlike Kerry who dances around the questions.
4. Bush has a plan that is laid out and well known. We're still trying to figure out Kerry's Plan.
5. Lastly if I didn't vote P. Diddy would kill me.

Actually, he voted for it and then voted against it when Bush didn't have the original sized coalition setup... I think that was made clear in the debates...
I'm not saying Kerry doesn't change his message for the audience, but sometimes votes change because other smaller things change in a bill or whatever is being voted on.
And Kerry also said his plan can be found on a webpage... I liked how kerry actually had a response when they asked him about unempolyment or the economy... instead of change the question over to "education" like bush did...

Yeah...His main target was minorities who are too poor to get health care...what makes him think that if they can't afford health care that they can afford a computer to connect to the internet to see this "Plan"
