Hey all!
I'm currently an elementary ed junior at LSU. However, since I've enrolled in an atmosphere science class, I feel that I could really do something like that for the rest of my life. I've always loved meteorology. Problem is, LSU doesnt offer that major..just geography, and I'm also a junior, so that would waste tons of credits.
Would it make sense to just double major in elem ed and geog? Then, go elsewhere for my masters in meteorology? Or should I just stick to education and forget meteorology?
Thanx for ur ideas!

well, would it add alot of courseload to what you have now to add another major? If you can get away with keeping the same courseload, and added more to your resume, you might as well do it.
I have the option right now to add a human resource certificate to my degree, and it wouldn't cost me anymore, and all i'd have to do is take a couple of elective credits to do it...so i'm thinking i might as well broaden my horizons. The way the future is looking, it wouldn't be wise to specialize in any one thing right now.
Go for it girl!!

I don't know about ed majors, but as a poli sci mahor, I was required to accumulate 32hrs of electives. At LSU, any minor or second major credits you might amass will also count toward your elective quotient, if indeed the classes were not already required for your first degree.
