I've been all over the net reading articles about the Capital One Bowl
yesterday. Not one LSU fan, coach or player will say Iowa did a good job.

Bunch of whiners. "We got beat because of mental mistakes...We didn't
physically get beat" Ha!

The Hawks were clearly the stronger, more agressive, more physical team
that kicked the tigers butts. They were ahead nearly the whole game.

The whiners are all saying that the game was stolen at the end by Iowa,
when actually it was ALMOST stolen at the end by LSU.

Coach Saban is the worst! Face it (and be a man and say it) coach.....that
Iowa just whipped your ass.

You've gotta admit, we LSU fans know a lucky win when they see one. Congrats on the win. Your guys played 60 minutes; ours played 59.5 minutes.

LSU scored its final touchdown on a meticulous drive; Iowa scored its final touchdown on a 56-yard Hail Mary. I wouldn't say the game was ALMOST stolen at the end by LSU. They made an impressive comeback and unfortunately thought the game ended there.

Nah.. you don't wish you saw the game.. it was painful.

I think the reason people (and I haven't researched this) are pissed off is that the officials made the horrible call / penatly when we got the 2 point conversion after the 74 yard Touchdown that Matt Flynn handed off to Alley Broussard.

Our Next Starting Quarterback?

I guess not since he doesn't really get mentioned in any of the stories I've read.

Has anyone seen anything about these wacky officials at the game?

It wasn't a bad call (and it was a touchdown run, not a pass).

I don't think you can actually steal a game unless someone paid off the refs, in which case from what I saw that would have been Iowa stealing the game. The two point conversion being brought back and the missed kick are really irrelevant since it still wouldn't have put us far enough ahead to prevent a loss from that final Iowa touchdown.

Yeah, a lawyer would never say anything untrue...

I forget who got called for the pass interference, but he didn't argue with the ref and he had a sheepish grin on his face--the kind when you get caught. Body language by virtually everybody on the field at the time tells me that it was the right call.

Iowa's final drive: 2 precision passes to move downfield then the final pass
hitting the receiver perfectly over his shoulder in stride. Hail Mary?!!

I consider a hail mary as a pass thrown up for grabs in the end zone.

However you look at it, it'll always be 30-25, and nobody will have any idea why you came to TigerU to have that victory validated. Feel free to rub it in here all you want; we'll be more than happy to compare trophy cases...

Bowe is #80, right? It was him, & jlw agreed when he slowed down & saw the replay.

I will say that you are bar none the rudest Iowa fan that I have contacted. We partied with a lot of the Iowa fans after the game and even took some of your ladies out that night }:-Þ. I have been bragging on the humility of Iowa's fans, but I am glad that I didn't post here yet because you would have certainly made me look like an ass. But I suppose I'm going to make you look like an ass as well because we (the group I was with) are big TIGER fans and we were high-fiveing Iowa fans congratulating them on a well-played game on the way out of the stadium (after the initial shock of it settled).

Bottom line is Iowa came in hungry and LSU came in flat. Yall whipped us up and down but I don't think that Iowa is a better team becuase I know the level of play LSU is capable of and that performance was not indicative of it. What goes around comes around. We did it to Kentucky and Iowa did it to us. Congratualtions Hawkeye2. Don't be such a dick and sore winner, eventhough you are not accustomed to it (i saw your bowl game history shirts - kinda thin dont ya think?), act like you are and most won't know the difference. And for future reference, calling a National Champion coach out just makes you look silly. Don't do it.
