Street Peddlers usually sell cheap books. Sometimes Book Wharehouse sells "an armload of books for 10 bucks" or something like that. Those are the cheapest I can think of.

you could always put a post on here asking if anyone has the books you need and want to sell them. I find just trading or selling between students eliminates middle men that only want to make profits. I would much rather sell a used book i payed 60 bucks for to a fellow student for say, 25 bucks, instead of settling for 10 for Co-Op or the Union. You could always just ask around as well. What books do you need?

I've found a lot of great deals online at places like CollegeBookService.com
If you don't feel like studying too hard I've found a lot of cheap fiction in their catalog as well.

www.half.com and www.amazon.com have cheap books. You can find out what books you need in advance on www.coopbookstore.com. I usually order 3 weeks in advance and I get the latest edition possible, because that is how LSU likes their books..new and frickin expensive
