So, I've passed by Cou-yons about a gazillion times, but never really wanted to give it a chance. Something about a BBQ restaurant inside of a gas station didn't really appeal to me.

But I was hungry, and hungry for something new, and since I didn't want to drive very far, I ended up at Cou-yons tonight, and i was pretty damn impressed.

I'm definitely not a ribs guy, so I got the Sliced Beef Sandwich, which was called the "mo humpa" The Mo Humpa? How could I choose anything else?

The sandwich was huge, a half pound from what I remember, and the beef was pretty damn tasty. The bbq sauce wasn't anything amazing, but it didn't need to be, because the beef tasted so good.

For sides, I got some potato salad that was pretty bland, and a lil banana pudding desert that was pretty good, but small for the price.

The combo meal was like 7.50, and another 1.50 for the desert. The sandwich was definitely worth it, but don't bother getting the combo.

If anyone has been to Cou-Yon's BBQ they should rate it at Restaurant Grader (click here)
