we got people right here in baton rouge that are working with artists from overseas and putting material out. an example is a friend of mine, kelly noland. she's a vocalist/dj and very much talented. you can download her mix cds here:

she has numerous projects she's worked on.. most familiar probably would be the old g brown classic "waiting for you" which she supplied the vocals for. another is johnny cage's "in my arms" track which was featured on the first release on his independent label, and also on the cd 'holding our ground'.
