“Hey man, sorry it’s taken a while to get back to you, things have been a little busy lately,” Aaron Hill said in his laid-back Californian brogue.

He’s not kidding. It’s June 1, and I’ve been trying to reach him by phone for the better part of two weeks. In that time he has hardly been idle – in fact, the truth is just the opposite, as Hill has not had a minute to himself since May 19, when he was called up to ‘The Show’ to start for the Toronto Blue Jays after tearing it up in the minor leagues for the Triple-A Syracuse Sky Chiefs.
