Free Jambalaya anyone?
For anyone wanting to go to a cajun dance, there is a special of free jambalaya for the first 200 people who show up starting at 7pm. There is however the regular $6 cover charge to get in to see/dance to the cajun band. See info below:
The Cajun French Music Association Friday night public dances are at the American Legion Hall that is located at 151 South Woodale Blvd which is behind Pier One and the Circle-K on Florida Blvd. Awesome place! Great wood dance floor! These dances are open to the public and everyone from the children to the grandparents are invited. $6 to the CFMA dances. There is no dance this Friday, August 19, but there is going to be a big dance the following Friday, August 26. The Boudin Cajun band is playing and there will be free jambalaya for the first 200 people compliments of the cajun dance troupe. Jambalaya at 7pm, cajun dance lessons at 7pm, band and dance from 8pm-10:30 pm.

I heard that the dance floor was actually pulled out of the old Amercian Legion Hall downtown and installed in the new building.
It must be good.
