it is a lie. he really likes black people that donate to his campaign. but probably not as much as the white people that donate. unless they donate a lot more or something i'm sure.

Kanye was nearly in tears as he said that. I think he feels an obligation to help the community, and that’s what he was trying to do. Nagin did not have much better to say. I think Kanye defiantly showed a lack of tact considering his responsibility as a celebrity and the goals of the fund raising program he was on. I think an apology would be appropriate.
Bush has said he is not satisfied with how things were handled. Was Mayor Nagin asking bush to over step the bounds of the executive and take control from the state with out having proper authority, maybe? As far as Bush goes I doubt he considered the race issue. Mostly because I don’t think he is personally involved in with logistics of the evacuation, others are in charge of that sort of thing. Bush has said he is not satisfied with how things were handled.
The truth is that Nagin did not make the right moves, he did not ask for what would be needed.
If Nagin would have said Monday night we are completely evacuating the city it would have gotten done that much sooner. But no… the Honorable Mayor went on TV and said things in superdome are OK, and that the looters were drug addicts looking for a fix. Personally I think he dropped the ball Monday.
He admitted that he did not know what the status of the transfer of authority was, come on the man is the Mayor.

I dont think they should be called "hurricane survivors" a survivor is someone who battles cancer and wins.
they should be called, dumb people, with no ears, who didn't listen when their BLACK mayor told them to GET THE HELL OUT.
people with no common sense should not be babied...
