or we could.. discuss it here since this is an LSU site and I don't want to sign up for that site..
Well granted we win on Friday which i'm 99% sure we will, we'll be tied with Auburn for first place in the west at 7-1. Since LSU > Auburn weeks ago in Baton Rouge, LSU is #1 in the west, then it's off to meet Georgia in Atlanta for the SEC championship. The SEC winner gets to the Sugar bowl, and don't quote me just yet but we should get West Virginia since they won the Big East. We should beat them, I don't know about any "troubles" though..

If we don't get a BCS bid its because we play the likes of North Texas and Appalachian State. We need to start bringing real competition, maybe get USC on the schedule, or some other overated team.

They're not going to just schedule USC for the Tigers, it doesn't work that way. We're not Notre Dame where schools all over the country beg us to play them on NBC in front of millions of people.
Colleges mainly play teams in their own conference for the vast majority of the schedule though. They will generally have 3 or 4 non conference games and two of them are just jackoff teams like North Texas from Sunbelt, Southland, WAC or MAC and a Division II-A team like Appalachian for homecoming or something.
We really didn't deserve a tough schedule this year, I mean we were good last year but not like BCS good or anything, we got to the Capitalone Bowl and lost to Iowa.. It wasn't like coming off a national championship where you play host to Oregon State your first game of the following season..
