My son is coming down to LSU to be in the 2006 LA All Star Band, at the 2006 Football Game. They are staying in the Kirby Smith Dorms and I need to know what street that dorm is on, so I can get directions for him to get there. We have been there several times before, year to year, but with so much building, its hard to find. I know we get off at Dalrymple drive and go to highland drive, take a right, but from there I don't know where to go. If someone could help me, I would ge grateful forever.

Are they required to stay in Kirby Smith? If not, please pony up the money for him to stay in a hotel. It won't be a good experience for him.
BTW: What does he play? Im a former saxophonist in the Famous Maroon Band (Mississippi State) and former drum captain in high school.

He is required to stay in Kirby Smith, he is in High School, but this is my second son to go through this all through high school. They both play trumpet, my oldest is majoring in music. He graduated in 2003, and made the All State Jazz Band in 2002 (first chair) and 2001(second chair). Jazz is is passion. He is currently going to ULM here in Monroe and is a senior this upcoming year. My youngest is going to be a junior in high school this year. They don't get much say so when their in high school as to where they stay. I have been to Kirby Smith and I agree it is not a pleasant dorm, but its the only one they offer to the students. I only go there once a year, and I basically know the route to highland, but always get mixed up from highland. Thank you so much for everyones help and the map. Only have 2 more years of this. LOL. Now just have to figure out what to do on Friday from 1 until they have to be at Tiger Stadium at 6:00. They make them check out at 1. for people that live in the area is ok, but we are 4 hours away, so its sort of tough on us not knowing the area. Thanks again for all of your help.

Thanks for all of your help. Last year we went to the mall, but first don't know how to get there, Mall of LA or something like that, but would rather do something different. You guys are the greatest and have helped me out tremendously. Thanks Again
