Looking for a 2br place in baton rouge ...close to LSU ...anyone have anything or know where i can find something...recommindations would be great

Try coming to BR for 3 days, 2 nights. You'll need $200 for motel room + food (more if you rent a car). (Can anyone here offer a free couch for a couple days?) Also bring your checkbook - you'll probably have to pay 1st & last months rent + deposit (total ca. $2000 - $3000) to get the shithole of your dreams.
Spend 2 - 3 days driving around BR looking for 'For Rent' signs and calling phone numbers on them. If you like to partay on a weekly basis but don't want to drink-n-drive, check out apts in TigerLand. For the more Bohemian lifestyle (public mudrasslin', blockparties, and going without underwear) look along State Street. If you want a quiter familial area, look between Perkins-Park vs. Acadian vs. Government and in Southdowns.
There are a lot of places available right now as the school year ends. Demand is high enough that landlords don't have to advertise in the paper or online.
If you find a place online or in an ad, ask about it here (give the address) and one of us will go check it out and post a report.
