Post subject: new to baton rouge-plz help
Hello,
I will be moving to baton rouge in june.I would like to get some information about apartments there?Is varnvilla a good apartment?Which is the best broadband internet provider in baton rouge.Hope to see the beautiful place soon..

Hopefully some other folks will weigh in on Varn Villa as I'm not familiar with it. I think it's over off of Brightside near TigerLand.
As far as Broadband you're probably going to end up dealing with Cox Cable for an Internet connection unless Varn Villa offers an internet connection. Some apartments like Tiger Plaza and University House have internet connections that come with the apartments.
I have heard that now Bellsouth (now AT&T) will give someone a DSL line without having to get a voice line but I could be wrong on that. In any case you're probably better off getting Cox because you can bundle it with cable television if you're planning on getting that too. I think DSL can be bundled with satellite / DirecTV but I'm assuming that most apartments don't want you sticking a dish outside.
So what has you coming down? School I'm guessing?

Yeah, I have applied there and am awaiting a response..thanks for your reply..Varnvilla will provide with cable Television but we have to take internet on our own...is tiger plaza a good apartment to live??just wanted to know as you had mentioned about it...
