Well that sounds just a bit condescending. Assumption, it's what's for dinner at TigerU!

SECONDS?!? I'll assume that you were referring to my mentioning of "Assumption". Please read my post entirely before responding RWNUGENT.

Actually, that was neither condescending nor an assumption. I was just recalling what Carl recently posted in another political thread. He wrote, "I listen to talk radio as y'all know, its the only way to get the truth, however, I do not listen to Rush or Hannity, I listen to the Savage nation with Michael Savage."

Dude, for once I'm gonna stick up for Carl. He said nothing about radio. He was talking about READING articles. So what does your comment have to do with anything? I don't see anything wrong with looking for the same article from different sources. It gives a wide perspective instead of the slant the writer was intending.

Man t his is getting more childish than my 7 year old campers.

Carl did mention that he listened to the radio. I don't think anywhere in there he says "I ONLY LISTEN TO THE RADIO" though. Could be wrong -shrug- Guess someone assumed he did.

Carl mentioned talk radio in another recent post (not in this thread). I quoted it along with my response above. If this is too "childish" for you, just don't get involved.

Hahahah Laughing This is getting too funny. Good to see you can still write a worthless response.

You are absolutely right that Carl did not say he listened ONLY to talk radio. What he said was that talk radio is the ONLY way to get the truth. My mistake. Sorry to have misquoted you, Carl. Let me revise my retort. My facetious and (as has been observed) inaccurate comment about Carl listening only to talk radio was an expression of my doubt that he would actually read a variety of articles on the topic, as he had said he would. My doubt remains. If Carl believe that talk radio is the only way to get the truth, it follows that he finds newspaper articles unreliable (i.e. not a good way to get the truth). I doubt that he would spend time reading a variety of such sources, since he considers them unreliable. His past actions have provided further confirmation of this. On several occasions I have posted links to a variety of articles on a given subject (Michael Moore's new film, for example), and he has declined to read them.[/i]
