Post subject: Counter Strike ping spike |

I have been playing Counter Strike since school started and all has been fine. But last week my ping started spiking. I can play in a room with about 3 people in it without lagging, but when more people are in there my ping jumps to 500. does anyone know a way to fix this?

a little advice: Counter-Strike will take over your life, much like Everquest. I suggest you quit while your ahead because CS is the root of all evil.

lol i agree...my 16 yr old brother does nothing but play CS. He totally got his own computer just last christmas and now my parents are supposedly getting him a new one this year w/ all this high tech gaming stuff on it..so I think he shall never leave his room. lol

I never left mine, besides the fun of blowing people's heads of and yelling at them knowing they're thousands of miles away is great, but you will never get to CAL-I, I thought I would but no, it never happened. Highest I got was Cal-M. Even ran my own clan, but then realized college was worth more to my life than CS.

Diablo II LOD was my crack for the longest time (about 4 years?)..but I gave all my accounts away and unistalled that fucker at the onset of this semester..now its Tiger U and myspace..must..have..elec..tric..cra..ckkkkkk *sigh*

As much as I like to game, I am able to stop playing them without effort.
I play CS, COD, and UT04 right now. I don't buy new games until summer hits.

Play Day of Defeat and Counterstrike, so if you see a guy named, "I cockblocked ---->," "I Screwed ---->," "Geaux Bush 4 More Years," "[A]ss[W]ipe[P]enis Compensator," "Kappa Kappa 4 Life," or "I did his mom ----->," that is me. I would play starcraft if my CD wasn't scratched, I was "AznAzzazzin" on there.

Destroyer (Rajan Mahajan) goes to LSU... he's been in S2k, TAU, and numberous other cal-i clans (don't know where he's at now). He even has a cs movie out there of him owning all of 3D back in the 1.3 days. CS did take over my life for awhile.. untill I realized the steam blows, it's a stupid game, and that 1.3 > all.
