Ok...I have a major beef with LSU on this one.
#1 LSU moves ALL of their online sports info to lsusports.net - sold the rights to this site for big bucks I am sure. There is very little good free content on lsusports.net. For the good stuff (video, audio, etc.), you have to pay extra money every month. Students, faculty, etc. in the LSU system should not have to pay for this. Cox.net is giving students a huge break, why not this site.
#2 www.lsu.edu has not mentioned a single thing about LSU football until it is announced that they are playing for a national championship. Fuck that. Where was that site last year, or earlier this year. It's too late to hop on board. All because Emmert is trying to publicize the university through the football team. Guess what, he should have ALREADY been doing that.
It is too late for lsu.edu's site to hop on board at this point, in my opinion.
The lsusports.net deal was nothing but a sell-out of the students and athletic teams. I'm sure students here at LSU could do a much better job with a site like that.
ARGGGHHHH. Finals are over at least.

I'm not big into LSU football although if I had to pull for a team I guess it would be LSU.
But I'm sure if I was trying to intensly follow LSU sports, I'd be upset. So /agree Meanpc.
I am a little concerned with this though:

as for the icon, right-clicking to get the url won't necessarily tell you truth...it was uploaded there so I could use it as my icon, as it is over 6k, and that is the tigeru limit...

Wtf...i agree with mean pc, lsu is a money squadering sheet hole. They could give a crap about sutdents, its all about research and sports. Why do you think they are firing the english instructors, because they aren't good? NO! because they want to be elite and blah blah blah....damn this school is retarded.

No, I don't know funkybrewster, and it's not an inside joke. Nothing at this site is important. Nothing done here will change anything at LSU or anywhere else for that matter. Nobody cares about most things that are posted here, except for the author. So what's the point of posting a reply like yours? To discourage future posting or for a cheap laugh? It's really not that funny.
