Waste, I dont know about LA, but in Texas the nicer clubs are a anything but a waste. Bring your own beer, free pool tables, free darts. The girls are busy enough hustling old men for lap dances or whatever. They don’t bother talking to the young disinterested young guys usually. In my experience the nice clubs are reasonable places to go to hang out, and a bargain for someone looking to hang out and drink after the bars close.
