so i got drunk at a co-worker's apartment last night and passed out on his couch while my boyfriend and his little brother played Halo. my dreams had apparently been somewhat influenced by the game because when they tried to wake me up, i said, "take all the unidentified objects out to the truck and when we get back we will unload them and identify them."
the response i got was "WHAT?!?!"
in my half-awake state, i'm trying to logically sort this out and assumed that their response must have been because i was perhaps mumbling or slurring (NOT because i was making absolutely NO sense), so i repeated what i had said VERY clearly and quickly. by the end of the sentence this time, i was awake enough to realize that i was, indeed, making NO sense. i got the same response. now, at this point i'm feeling very stupid and i try to play it off, but it didn't work and i eventually just said "shut up, man, i'm sleeping!"
