so....the hotel is taking the leash off me for a couple hours on friday night...and i excited that I could finally get a chance to check out family dinner. But I go to the family dinner site, and they offer me another suggestion.
I guess Sunny is doing a show friday night at swamp mama's....
I'm kinda leaning to stand up....but i'm usually up for a game of follow the leader...so who's going where? And what do you plan to bribe me with?
I work at 11pm...so kareoke will be out of the question....

I think you've misread the calendar.
The Family Dinner had a show this past friday and since they have shows every other week their next show won't be this Friday, but next Friday.
I'm looking at the TigerU calendar and I do see that Adam is performing at the Funny Bone on Friday night. I would suggest going to the show at Swamp Mama's on Friday and checking out Adam at the Funny Bone either on Thursday or Saturday if you can.
By the way whoever hasn't checked out the new calendar make sure you do.. it rocks!

Is Comedy Block gonna be any cleaner than Open Mic night?

well, i guess that means i should go to swamp mama's....i've been pretty sick the last couple days, and i guess it's affecting my eyesight and reading skills. anyone gonna go to swamp mama's?

Tonite's show is being taped for a network television audience, necessitating that a certain percentage of the material be suitable for most audiences. (Let's just guesstimate PG-13.)
I daresay most of the material I've heard from both of the opening performers would be considered "clean." We love you, Sunny! 
Comparing the "cleanliness" level to open mic nite is a bit difficult, since by the very nature of that type of show, you never know who is going to perform what material....

 the first 1/3 of my material will be clean.
the rest is similar to what i usually do, but it also will be a little more relaxed.
So in other words, its going to be more like i was when i first started doing comedy, instead of what i have evolved into.

Just gotta say Sunny was AWESOME tonight!!! Best show I've seen from him, and I've seen plenty. *big hugs to ma Sunny*!!
To all yall that missed it - POO POO on YOU!!
And the margaritas afterwards..SCRUMDIDLYUMPTIOUS!!! I'm still kinda WOOOOO....good stuff...maybe I shouldn't have driven home lol.
