When I was younger, in cursive writing, when I spell my name, my C's look like E's. So when I would spell my name it would look like Earl, rather than Carl.

Ichiban is japanese for "Number one" or "The BesT". I've been using it since the LSUchat days years ago. I chose it because a) it fits my personality, and b) at the time I was choosing a nickname my friend Speedy and my brother were discussing the Wu Tang Clan, and it popped up for some reason.

I picked mine cause it's the first letter of my first name and my whole last name. I did that so I wouldn't forget, because I have so many different things I need to log into for work. I might as well make it all the same.

long long ago in the days of AOL 3.0 when we first got the internet I was looking for a screen name. My friend suggested GroovyChick because he thought I was groovy I guess? OF COURSE GroovyChick was taken so it ended up being Gr0vychLck but with the lower case L. Then when I went off to college I had a new computer and a free year of aol 7.0 baby, so then I changed it to LSUgroovychlck. Now there is your brief history lesson for the day.
