Post subject: Lenten Gaming - Forty days and Forty Nights(really 45 days) |

So, a few of us have decided to follow the tradition of giving up something that's hard to give up for Lent.
In this case, Brand_X has decided to give up sex and such related things for Lent (ie. kissing, masturbation). We are taking wagers on how long he can go for.. wether that be 7 days, 25 days, or 45 days.
This is how it works.. $10 for each day. 1 person per day. If he gives in on the day you are down for.. you get the "pool".
In the case of it happening on a day that no one picked, then it goes to the closest to it without the day having passed. For instance, if he caves on the 35th day, and someone has the 34th day and someone has the 36th day.. the person with the 36th day wins.
In the case that he goes all 45 days without giving in.. he wins the pot.
You have until MIDNIGHT Monday Feb 14th to pick a date. After then, all dates will be closed off. Days 7 through 40 will be available for picking

Post in this forum with a message saying with date or number day you would like and put the date and the number of the day in the subject line, and it will go up on the calendar. BEWARE: Once you have posted, you cannot go in and edit your post. So choose wisely!

so, even though i'm not catholic, or religious at all, I thought i'd play along.
since giving up masturbation wouldn't last more then 4 hours, I've decided to give up fast food.
that is going to be a challange for me, since i live alone, and rarely keep food in my fridge, and since i'm usually on the run....but i think i can do it.
anyone else giving anything up?
