One of today’s most prolific artists is Ryan Adams, and he plans to exceed any previous expectations with three releases in 2005.  The first of these, Cold Roses, hit stores on May 3. Adams is an all-American songwriter in the way that Neil Young was in the 70’s. Who could forget his tribute to New York City and its video filmed just weeks before 9/11?  

“New York New York” brought Adams national fame and the remaining tracks from Gold gave him a songwriter’s notoriety. Cold Roses is a tribute to 70’s honkey tonk rock clad with dreamy steel guitar melodies and nasal love songs. The two-disc album radiates Adams’ talent at penning heartfelt tunes.
