By Jeff SmithpetersThe main ceremony will begin in Pete Maravich Assembly Center Friday, May 20, at 9 a.m., according to LSU’s commencement homepage (found at http://www.lsu.edu/commencement/). Chancellor Sean O’Keefe has been chosen to be this year’s commencement speaker.
• Doctoral candidates should arrive at PMAC’s northwest portal in their regalia at 7:45 a.m. Master’s and bachelor’s candidates should report to PMAC’s southeast portal at the same time.
• The homepage says, “Alcoholic beverages, balloons, beach balls, mortar boards decorated in a distracting or dangerous manner, compressed air noise makers and confetti will not be allowed on the Assembly Center floor.” Tassels should be worn on the left front side of the cap.
