By Brian FontenotNormally, Physics departments at universities are supposed to have breakthroughs, but LSU’s Department of Physics and Astronomy in Nicholson Hall just saw a couple of break-ins.
On the night of June 27, someone entered the main office, and stole two laptops from the office of the Department Chairman Roger McNeil. It was also suspected someone had attempted to steal a laptop from the student purchasing desk, as it was disconnected the following morning.
A little more than a week later, on July 5, Moses Martin, who has many prior criminal charges, was arrested by the LSU Police Department. He was allegedly discovered sleeping in the main office of the LSU Department of Physics and Astronomy. The doors to the office had been forced open.
