Ok Guys,
I'm not a Baton Rouge native, but I am about to move there (10 days and counting). I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the best dance clubs, or clubs in general are.

AWE and JasonB are being worthless because they lack the simple respect and intelligence to give you a correct answer. What assholes. 
So clubs, you are in luck, baton rouge is full of clubs, great live music scene too.
First I don’t think you will have a difficult time finding clubs at all, every one is doing it.
SO… Baton rouge has a huge amount of clubs, just like you are looking for including…
Freds and Reggies (tigerland) are both fun places to go they get packed get hot, and you can dance.
If you are more discriminating or slightly more alt Spanish Moon is a great place to do dance too. You might like the music at S.M. more if you have something against what every one likes.
As long as you don’t hang out with the people form this website I don’t think you will have a difficult time finding mature people to hangout with, dance and have fun.

he says HUGE amount of clubs, and mentions 3, and doesn't mention the too mostly consistently popular dance clubs in the city over almost 20 years(Texas Club and Triple A), or the newest dance club (Sogo Live).

I have not been to the clubs you mention when they had dancing, oh wait I have… it was country line dancing. (shudder)

but if you aren't down for that...the varsity has a pretty good retro night, and The Station seems to be popular

I love Fred's...there is an age restriction against the freshman and if you are a girl, just make sure you got ur ladies covered, because people tend to grab shit that don't belong to them LOL. Other than that, really great music and dancing and deals on certain nights  .
Bogeys and Reggies will be where you find Greeks.
TigerBar is really just a lotta freshman.

 is a great club to do just that, if you're open to frequenting a "gay club." Best music & drinks, great staff, they also have shows to mix things up & theme parties...just a great time to be had by all.

About the age restrictions as far as freshman are concerned- you mean 18+, or no freshman at all?
Because, that would suck lol-- as I am Freshie.
