nice..
I would make it a news site for everything LSU. Include local weather, sports, and etc but have news for everything going on at LSU. Use a CGI-based newsboard. A newsboard is a variation of a message board you just can't reply to the messages that are posted and the only user or users that can post news bulletins are authorized and password protected.
But anyway put a sweet design on it like the TigerU.com site has.
