Post subject: Alito Hearings? Liberals gone off the deep end... |
  |
|
I just want to know about everyones opinions about the brutal hearings to appoint the new Supreme Court justice. Listening to right wing talk shows and witnessing these hearings on C-Span, I am appalled by these proceedings. I cannot believe that the democrats have gone so low. Making Alito's wife CRY? Using Guilt by association tactics, being associated with Princeton makes him bad because of an article he MAY OR MAY NOT have read? Please Note: Guilt by association was used to spread Communism and Nazism. Are democrats like Kennedy, Schumer and Finestein really reliable? They are morally wrong for what turmoil they are putting Alito through. Kennedy even read from a SCRIPT, he is a puppet.
Ruth Bater Ginsberg didn't have to go through this circus in 1993. "I cannot say one word on that subject..." said Ginsberg in 1993 setting a precedent numerous times, allowing a Supreme Court nominee not to disclose his or her opinions on the legality and constitutionality of an issue. Why does Alito have to say one word? And why is the democratic party forstalling these proceedings, using it like a filibuster.
Could it be that the communist, whoops, that was a slip, I mean, the democratic party, is asking most of the questions this time? Those who have been crying the loudest are hurting their party much worse than they are helping it. I predict a drastic change in the democratic party, a split or a formal condemnation of these people's actions. What do you think?

99% of politicians are out to better themselves and their careers, not society..
That's my opinion.. on everything political.

Dude, it was Graham that made her cry.
He is the one who asked “Are you really a closet bigot?”
tactfully described racists as “a little different”.

That is correct; ultimately the big 4 liberals were asking such absurd questions insinuating that Alito was a racist; the guy went up there and flat out asked him if he was, in his defense, because Alito would of course answer no, and it made others insinuated he was, look stupid. She cried because It was the RIGHT question, and she was relieved that she didn't have to stress about them insinuating publically that he was a racist. Ultimately they did make her cry, if it wasn't insinuated that he was a bigot in the first place, his family would have NEVER had to go thropugh such distress. True she cried out of joy, but why? Because the RIGHT question was answered and Courtroom Circus antics were finished at that point when he was asked.

… let me get the jist of what earl is saying. His wife cried because she was relived, and it is because the Liberals are being dicks? It made her so happy that the some one came out and asked her husband straight out that she burst into tears of joy.
I don’t buy it. The members of the panel were being crass. I think the breaking point was the bickering among the panel about the parcel. It was just hilarious.
