I'm trying to solve this mystery... I'm hoping someone may know something..

Monday we received over double the traffic we usually get..

Here are some facts..

* 86 people found TigerU by searching for tigeru.com, tigeru, www.tigeru.com, tigeru, and tigeru com across several search engines .. The average is about 0-2 per day.

* The traffic took a significant jump at the 5am hour.. Usually if there's a spike, it's in the evening.

* The majority of visits to the site are usually from people in Louisiana.. On Monday, the #1 state was Texas with 479 (32.21%) .. Louisiana was #2 with only 204 (13.72%) .. Texas is usually #4 in the visitors' state list.

* Within Texas, 297 (62%) of the Texas visitors were in Houston.. #2 being Dallas with only 19 (3.97%)

.. does anyone know of an article or a story that may have led people here?

Landon told all of his friends back in Houston about how cool the new design was. It didn't take much after that before the hits started piling on.

Naw I have no idea.. Forget it

I have a third Theory now… Tiger U has been targeted by guerilla web forum marketers.

That's what I said .... LEstay? Friends? HA! ...

Actually, I was hoping you had some insight to this .. I didn't think you had any direct involvement, but I was hoping you might have heard TigerU being plugged somewhere..

Crap.. I'm out of leads now.

*edit* I just made another lead.. Out of all those visitors from Houston, only ONE signed up... I've emailled this person to see if maybe they followed everyone else here..

TigerU's new layout that just went online several days ago includes a new section on Hurricane Katrina. Thousands of New Orleans-area residents are currently displaced in the Houston and Dallas areas.
