Jeremy Enigk, the enigmatic singer and songwriter for emo-core pioneers Sunny Day Real Estate and The Fire Theft, kicked off his fall/winter tour last night, Halloween, in Tempe, AZ, opening the shows for Cursive over a four-week period. Enigk also announces a month's worth of headline dates culminating with a special New Year's Eve show in his hometown of Seattle (full itinerary below).
For the Cursive dates, Enigk, on vocals and guitar, is joined by Kannan Tupper on percussion. For his headline dates, Enigk will be backed by his full band - Enigk, Tupper, bassist Joe Skyward, keyboardist Josh Myers, and Billy Dolan on guitars.
