No I wasn't ... I was quoting from the skit that "Cheeburger Cheeburger" got their name from...

I was pretty disappointed with Cheeburger Cheeburger. With out understanding the history of the chain, it just seemed like a “Fuddruckers” rip off. I have to say that Fuddruckers is much better, and slightly less expensive than Cheeburger^2.
The ironic thing is that Cheeburger in Baton Rouge has a retro theme, Fuddruckers also has a retro aspect to the theme but it does not come off as ‘canned’ as Chee.
Sadly we do not have a Fuddruckers (also a larger chain) in Baton Rouge, so if you want to understand this you might have to leave the state.

I think everyone should boycott burger chains that try to complicate things to any level beyond sonic.

Fuddruckers is pretty choice because they let you get your own extras (tomatoes, cheese sauce, onions, bbq). All you really pick is size (and if you want sliced cheese or something exotic like mushrooms). You could order the exact same thing and prepare it yourself to any number of tastes.

I don’t know if you would consider that more or less complicated.

yeah, we had one on Corporate @ Energy Dr.

Now, Mansur's on the Boulevard is there..

I went to Fudrucker's once.

I didn't like dressing my own burger for some reason.

well, Fuddrucker's was moderately priced, and the customer had to do some of the work. Seems like if we're going to pay 8 bucks for a burger, someone else should put on our lettuce and tomato.
Or you're just lazy.

But this system worked for me since I like my burgers completely plain. This way, there's wasn't a chance of getting it, and it being covered in mayo and crap.

There is one burger I don't think has been mentioned yet.

The Gourmet Burger at the LSU Faculty Club.

It's pretty good.

Pricing like all the others.. way better ambiance.

I love SONIC! It is not too big. Faculty club, OMG, they give you half pound burger with fries. I think it is good for people who can eat more... I cannot finish it.
