Whats up everyone. I'll be attending LSU this coming fall and I was wondering which dorms are the best. Also looking for a roommate  . If anyone has some info, please fill me in.

I would like to get an apartment, but the roommate part is the problem. I'm from Texas and couldn't find anyone to go to LSU with me, so I'm having to dorm to meet some people. But if anyone needs a roommate and wants an apartment...Let me know.

find and apartment dorms suck. too many Ra's trying to treat you like you are in high school. Stopping parties when they get good, roommate looking you out so he can try to get some with some drunk chick. (i never lived in a dorm only know from what im told bought my condo when i got to lsu)

Avoid Blake, Graham, Herget, and Miller....Acadian, The Pentagon, Evangeline, and Laville are the best bets for freshmen.

Stay in the Pentagon, it's a good place to meet a lot of people and the rules are really lax.

In my opinion, anything in the horseshoe is your best bet. I lived in both Evangeline and Highland, and they were both pretty good. I'd have to say Highland was the best because there were NO RULES. Yay for that. We didn't have an annoying front desk, didn't have to check people in, and no curfews, etc. Not exactly the most beautiful rooms, but once you add your own personal touch, it's not too shabby. Plus, suite bathrooms ROCK!

I have never lived in a dorm, but my friend lived in Evangeline and she liked it. We are getting an apt b/c its saving her a lot of money. So it really depends on what you are looking for and how much money you are wanting to spend.
