I read this http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=1503&ncid=1503&e=6&u=/afp/20040511/ts_afp/britain_motoring_women_040511114451 and I thought I would ask if you all believe that women are better driver then men.

So do you believe women drive better then men? Or do men drive better then women?

Ok maybe in teabag country the women are more careful.. But I see wrecks on the side of the road which almost always involves a girl in her brand new (insert pussy car). That's alright, Daddy's got spares in his garage.

And about 80% of the girls that I know have wrecked at least one car at-fault, and 50% of that totalled at least one car at-fault.

And about 15% of the guys i know have wrecked a car.. no totals. I've been in a fender bender. didn't even hurt the guy's SUV, but did about $600 in damage to my car.

Of course, you do see the occasional flipped ricer car within the scene of an accident.

Haha, Cyber, That report was all over the news a while ago here, it was something to do with men more willing to take risks and gaining a rush from doing it.

However the fact that stood out was that men drive on average 6500miles a year

compared to a womans 2300miles!

I figure thats where they're 'dare i say it Confused' 'twisted' stats come from

:p Matt

I used to do shoulder-passes. I was on the way back from Clinton on Plank Rd. I was passing 3-5 cars at a time, doing around 90 on the shoulder if the oncoming left lane was too dangerous to pass.

On one pass, a school bus pulls onto the shoulder to drop kids off. I already have a car on my left, so I can't get back on the road. I locked up the brakes and took the ditch. I skidded the length of the ditch and nailed the culvert.

I of course lied to the cop that showed and told him I was messing with my radio and next thing I knew, I was on the shoulder with a bus in front of me. He got out his distance measuring wheel and measured the skid marks. As he walked away from me, he got pretty small because he had to walk so far. On top of that, when he got back, a trucker that was going the opposite way and saw the whole thing radioed and told him what really happened.

All I ended up with was a failure to maintain control ticket though. I was just glad I didn't mow down any 2nd graders.

Women are not less risky drivers - they just aren't good enough drivers to be cognizant of the fact that they are taking risks. When a guy pulls out in front of someone and guns it, he will probably check his rearview once he gets out in the road. Once a woman pulls out, I'll bet she doesn't check the rearview. Situational awareness.

Look at all the people that voted yes...

You notice on campus women are more likely to plow you over through a cross walk than guys?
