There are many articles showing where Clinton headed off planned terrorist attacks (instead of waiting until after the fact). I promise I will try to find complete articles on this. the reason I haven't got them right now is that most of the newspapers and magazines that printed them all charge to download the complete article and I do not have the funds to subscribe to or purchase all these articles. I'm sure they can be found for free somewhere and I will continue to look for them, unlike a right-wing media source which would simply make it up or take it out of context. [/url]

The comment about the gas prices was just stupid.
I don't recall paying 5.00% interest on mortgages when Clinton was in either. As if GWB controls the price of oil - it's OPEC.
I think this is all a travishamockery.

Have you actually read anything on the links i posted or are you just responding because you saw that i made a post. If Bush is so great why are his people, military people, saying this about him. I guess they are just mad because he didn't give them a promotion or high level job.

What are you talking about? Will you just stick to the question I asked you first? I just told you that I did skim through the links you posted. Which piece of information, in particular, were you referring to when you mentioned the oil price fixing? I was looking for a quote from a reputable source in those links - didn't find it though. There was quite a bit of hippy conjecture and the articles were all over the place. Progressive minds seem to have trouble staying on target.
That's all I wanted to know. I wasn't talking about prisoners or anything else. Sounds like you are going off on quite a tangent there. Calm down.

This really has nothing to do with the REAL topic of this post.. but someone mentioned gas prices, and I just thought I would point out that where I live you can get a gallon of gas for the low, low price of $2.39!!! I think it is a Bush Administration conspiracy because my state is full of environmentalists that wont let him drill the artic *grumble*

I could have sworn this thread started out as commentary on Bush's commencement speech, not a political debate. Regardless, I believe the President is a great man who should stay in office for the next four years. If you want to complain about the Iraq War and Afghanistan and whatnot, go right ahead, but why don't you talk to the people actually participating in the war? The person I love most in the world spent six months in Afghanistan, and he still supports the President completely. He knows he may get sent to Iraq any day now, but that's not changing his support of Bush. The U.S. military consists of the ones fighting the war, and the majority of them like our President. As for John Kerry, he doesn't even seem to know what he's doing. He'll support whatever is appropriate at the time.

I'm sure John Kerry has absolutely no idea what he's doing or anything about war for that matter. I mean what combat experience does he have? I support the war on terrorism, I beleive our troops are doing a great job considering they are bound by religious laws of the countries they are deployed in. I'm sure this person you know who may soon be going to Iraq doesn't mind doing his sworn duty but I'm also sure that if there were no war in Iraq he would be even happier.
