While others saw a naïve young girl standing demurely behind the counter, I saw a desperate animal struggling to tame the primal urges that simmered beneath her black apron. I could see the desire twisting her. She bit her lip in mounting frustration, and gazed at me lascivously, overtly telegraphing her needs.
“Triple shot mocha, no whipped,” I ordered, and the tension between us nearly exploded.
“Tall or Venti?” she mouthed silently.
I nodded in response, saying nothing. She knew exactly what I meant, because we both desperately wanted it.
What followed was the most intense three minutes of my life. I blistered with lust as I watched her operate the espresso machine; every tender motion of her body emblazoned itself upon my memory. I have since then suffered many sleepless nights, haunted by the memory of her passionate, unbridled drinkmaking.
Her name was Virginia, and she made my coffee.
