So far we’ve seen Bad Pitt fight Trojans in a miniskirt (Troy), Antonio Banderas commit grand theft movie as an animated feline (Shrek 2), and watched Dennis Quaid outrun bad weather (The Day After Tomorrow). This week we’ve been given the latest installment of the hugely magical Potter franchise, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Harry and his friends are getting older and it seems that the older these kids get, the better their movies become.
In Prisoner of Azkaban, young wizard Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts for his third term. The school is full of paranoia due to the fact that convicted murderer Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban Prison and is no doubt on his way to Hogwarts to confront Mr. Potter due to their complicated history. Prisoner of Azkaban was truly going to be the installment that would make or break the Potter franchise, because of some pretty big details that are different from the first two movies. Azkaban proves that Harry and his friends have absolutely nothing to worry about – this is a great movie.
