What's going on people? I've been packing to move into my new apartment at The Venue in August, while at the same time preparing for my family's annual trip to Grand Isle. Boiled shrimp, fried fish, and boiled crabs galore!
Stuff that is irritating me right now: reformulated gas, John Kerry, change of address stuff, packing all the junk that is pretty much junk but stuff I can't throw away, waiting to get my car fixed, waiting for the announcement about student season tickets...
Anyone heard anything about student ticket sales? I was told that we'd get an email sometime in June, but June is running out pretty quickly.
Saw two movies last weekend...The Stepford Wives and The Notebook. Anyone else seen either of these movies? If so, what did you think?
I know, I'm so uninteresting. I just needed to spill a bunch of random thoughts out of my head. Sorry if I've bored anyone.

The Venue, is that the new apts. by LSU that are supposed to be opening before next semester? If those are the same ones I was reading about on the internet they are supposed to be pretty nice.

Reformulated gas= bad bad, too expensive, i read somewhere that it may not be good for your motor and what difference does it make if it's only in a 5 parish area.

John Kerry= good, He has no record of ignoring experts in national security, he has not deceptively led our nation into a war of aggression against the better judgement of said experts. Even though he may have married a multi-millionaire heiress I doubt that you can make any ties between condiments and the Middle East. Trust me just vote for him.

Change of address= easy just fill out a change of address card at the post office that actually delivers your mail and they will forward everything you get. When you start getting the mail simply fill out the change of address section that most billing companies provide on their statements (all I get is bills so thats my main reference point).

Junk you can't get rid of= Boxes and closet space at your new residence. That's what I did a year ago and it's still there, or boxes and storage space at your parents residence also works well.

Waiting to get your car fixed= no idea what to tell you.

Student tickets= see above statement but if you do get that email let me know so i can get some cheap tickets.

Haven't seen either of those movies you mentioned.

Well just thought I would leave you some useless, probably unwanted comments. Oh well if you do want them there they are. Have fun in Grand Isle.

That's pretty cool.. and thanks for mentioning the Venue.. a bunch of people will find this tread by doing a search for the venue and lsu now Smile

Well.. we've stayed off the Reformulated gas for now.. a few months a least. John Kerry.. GEAUX BUSH. Change of address.. I took forever to fill mine out.. no biggie.. it helps keeping most of your bills going to your parents house (if they live in town). packing sucks especially when you're a pack rat like me... a lot of people I know have been having issues with their vehicles lately.. strange.. as soon as anyone hears about tickets make sure to post it here! I'm sure they'll be ordered through the website like they were last year... and don't worry if you don't get a ticket.. you can usually purchase them outside the stadium from random people.

I'd like to see the Stepford Wives I think.. I hadn't heard anything about the other.. I'm really ready for Spiderman II to come out - June 30th!
Did you see Harry Potter?

Yeah, his record just entails missing 87% of the congressional meetings he was elected to participate in, telling lies about his vietnam service, and voting on both sides of every argument. Oh, not to mention being a communist war hero and being credited with North Vietnam's holding of Saigon. And his record as a leader? All but one of the officers he served with in Vietnam have signed a petition saying that he's unfit to serve as commander in chief based on his actions during his stint in the armed forces. Oh, and don't forget, when things got tough in vietnam, he went out and met with the NVA and marched in communist rallies while still in our armed forces.. kinda making him.. what's the word... oh... a turncoat? Owell.. if you want someone who, as Ollie North said "..has the blood of american soldiers on his hands" because he helped enemy morale instead of his fellow "brothers" (although I doubt many vets call him brother), go ahead.. vote Kerry. It'll be a blast. Personally, I'm going to vote for someone else, because I see Kerry for the piece of shit he is.
