By Blake BourquardLast month, the gaming community was treated to a preview of what can be expected from the industry over the course of the next year at the annual Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3). The show, held in Los Angeles, provides a week-long forum for software and hardware developers to give the press a sneak preview of what they have in the works. As usual, this year’s E3 had plenty of great stuff that gamers can look forward to. Besides all the great games that are in development, there is also some hardware on the horizon that shows real promise.
The two big pieces of news on the hardware front were the Nintendo DS and the Sony PSP. Both of these systems are portable and scheduled for release later this year and both show a great deal of potential.
