By Ben RelleArtie Brown did something that Oregon State place-kicker Alexis Serna could not do during Saturday might’s football game…kick a ball straight.
Brown’s goal in the fourth minute of overtime propelled LSU (3-0) to a 2-1 victory over in-state rival Tulane on Friday night.
Brown nailed the ball in the top right corner of the net. The goal was her fourth of the season.
So far this season, Brown has scored the game-winning goal for the Tigers in every game.
