While my vote this year will not be cast with the enthusiasm of a Tiger cheerleader, the decision is one made without reservation.
George W. Bush, for all his imperfections, has been a good president. In academic terms I give him a ‘B’. Some might consider this grade particularly high in light of the many challenges faced by Bush – all out of his control. The distortions, half-truths, oversimplified statements and outright lies are too many to document here. So I will highlight just one area of contention, which has allowed me to see through the chaos of campaign spin in search of the man behind the image.
