Does applying to LSU take FOREVER or is it just me???...I submitted my app. and got an email two weeks ago that said they were sending a list of additional documents that were needed. Well that list never arrived. Did it take this long for everyone or am I just being impatient?

You need to call people and get more run around. If you're so sure you want to come to LSU you need to put in some calls to make sure you do.
Let's just say that government workers arent looking out for you. They're like guns... you cant fire them if they dont work. The LSU post office is the best example.

Make sure you have your shots. Or you can just sign a peice of paper...
The real issue is that the staff / internet does not comunicate all of what you need to do. You must acomplish task A before learning of task B in many cases.

yeah, it took me forever to get in to this dumb school as well. I got my acceptance back so late that i had orientation the day before my first class.

I applied in fall 03 for Fall 04 and it took about 2 months I think. Worth it? heh, I guess that depends on the person...

Pity us poor international students... everything takes that little bit longer for us because of the postal system.
It's 6 weeks to go until I arrive, and I still don't have my I-20 (very important document) to take to the American Embassy here in London so I can get my F-1 student visa issued. And I think there's something about shots? Gah! So little time!

wow, i have a lot of school spirit and all, but LSU is not always worth it. I get more stressed out with all the bullshit the university throws at me than when I take a hard final.

anyone know anything about BRCC? I'm looking at taking some classes there since the Univ. of Phoenix recently informed that I owe then $850 for the class that I failed.
Is that something new? Financial Aid not paying for failed classes?
