By Jeff Smithpeters Contributing EditorPresident George W. Bush would still be the worst president in American history even if Osama bin Laden were to turn himself in to NYPD headquarters. He surpassed James Buchanan for the title in late October 2004, when the “New York Times” and CBS reported that US forces had been ordered to leave 377 tons of munitions unguarded near Baghdad.
The munitions were later looted and are likely being used every day by insurgents on our troops and on Iraqi police and civilians. Up until last October, Bush was only the second worst president.
Well, Bush took care of that before his first term elapsed. And he won re-election anyway—that is if you believe all those electronic voter machines and all those optical scan tabulation machines in Ohio and Florida that were made by pro-Republican companies weren’t tampered with. If you believe that, I know where you can find Saddam’s atomic bombs.
