Jewelry designer and entrepreneur Jeanne Nicole McCollister, is making her mark on the fashion scene. Aided by the Louisiana Business & Technology Center, McCollister has expanded her business, Jeanne Nicole Ltd., to reach markets across the country.

Besides McCollister, the LBTC, located on South Stadium Drive, helps many other ambitious entrepreneurs get their foot in the door. According to Executive Director Charles D’Agostino, the LBTC is an economic development engine with a core mission to develop businesses and create jobs for Louisiana.

The LBTC offers business counseling, management assistance, networking and other business services. They offer MBA graduate students to help in developing marketing and financial models. They provide a workplace with support services and offer a network of professionals that can assists small businesses.
