Is CNN turning into Weekly World News?
They are saying Jesus probably walked on frozen water (AKA "ice").

I'm having trouble figuring out what the main point of this article is and how many resources were wasted in trying to prove this phenomenon.
Maybe they are wrong. Maybe Jesus just had really buoyant feet.

Just what is the point of researching this?
When people need factual proof like this, they miss the main point of the underlying message.
Take this for instance...
...the tortoise and the hare...
We all know a rabbit can beat a turtle in a race. There is factual proof of this because a rabbit is obviously much faster than a turtle, but the turtle wins the race in the end. Possible but not probable in a real-life situation since the top sprint speed of a rabbit far surpasses that of a turtle. You can probably look up on Google the speeds of animals and put it into a scientific graph with a curve of distance over time. It's very simple physics.
If we focus solely on the facts, what is the point of the story in the first place?
I think the next article will be about how fast Jesus' soul ascended into Heaven or how many tears ran down Mary's face and at what intervals.
Does it really matter?

No it shouldn't matter. Yet many people try to disprove or prove Jesus and His miralces through science. It's all about faith.
