Hi, this is Clarence the Cajun DJ and www.cajunradio.org
I have now created a new email list called "Clarence's Lagniappe Email List".
This email list will feature events in the Baton Rouge area including various art, entertainment and fun events. This email list will be separate from my cajun email list. If you wish to be added to this email list, please send an email to clarence@cajunradio.org with the subject "Clarence's Lagniappe Email List". 1) The Downtown Baton Rouge Christmas parade
is on Saturday December 8, 2007 at 5pm in downtown Baton Rouge.

2) The BREC French Creole Christmas Candle Light Tour and Bonfire at Magnolia Mound
is on Sunday Dec 9, 2007.

3) The Festival of the Bonfires on the Mississippi River
between Baton Rouge and New Orleans are on Fri, Sat, Sun Dec 7, 8, 9, 2007. These bonfires are located on River Road through the towns of Lutcher, Paulina, and Convent.

4) Baton Rouge Ice Skating

11) LSU’s annual Candlelight Celebration
starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Memorial Tower on Tuesday, Dec. 4. 2007. The event features a reading of the Cajun Night Before Christmas, as well as performances by the LSU Brass Quintet, the LSU Ballroom Dancers, the Baton Rouge Concert Band and the Baton Rouge Ballet Theater. This multicultural event also features a Kwanza celebration and a lighting of a Hanukkah Menorah.
